MTTF medical drawdown ends with donation of drugs, supplies to ANA
On 22 October 2011, the Mission Transition Task Force Health Services Unit (MTTF HSU) handed over $500,000 worth of medications and other medical supplies to the Kandahar Regional Military Hospital, an Afghan National Army hospital near Kandahar Airfield. This donation was the culmination of the HSU’s role in the MTTF’s mission-closure task, the final drawdown of Canadian medical equipment and supplies in Kandahar Province. Full story....
