This project’s funding pays for healthcare costs of patients at the Afghan Doctors’ Association in Germany Comprehensive Health Clinic for one year. This project includes training healthcare staff and buying essential drugs and equipment.
Health services at the Comprehensive Health Clinic cover:
- maternal and newborn health;
- child health and immunization;
- public nutrition services;
- communicable diseases;
- mental health; and
- disability.
The clinic has been providing free medical and health services to approximately 60,000 patients (mainly children and women) per year.
