Minister ODA to launch new fund-matching campaign for afghanistan
OTTAWA, ON – On May 14, the Honourable Beverley J. Oda, Minister of International Cooperation and Vice-Chair of the Cabinet Committee on Afghanistan, will launch a campaign where the federal government will match funds donated by Canadians to specific development projects in Afghanistan focussed on education, entrepreneurial and skills training.
Minister Oda will be joined by representatives from partner organizations CARE Canada, World University Service of Canada, Rotary International, and the Mennonite Economic Development Associates.
