This episode looked at one of Canada’s three signature projects in Afghanistan: the eradication of polio, an initiative which is directly linked to Canada’s priority to provide humanitarian assistance to vulnerable people. The polio eradication signature project is a joint initiative supported by Canada and implemented by UNICEF and the World Health Organization, in close collaboration with the Afghan Ministry of Health.
