Consular Services

In order to manage the consular workload and serve clients without delay, Canadians in need of routine consular assistance are encouraged to schedule an appointment with the consular section prior to coming to the Canadian embassy in Kabul. You may arrange this by sending an email to the consular section at kabulcs@international.gc.ca or by calling +93 (0) 701-108-800. The embassy’s normal business hours are from Sunday to Thursday, from 8:30 to noon. Consular emergencies, of course, will be handled at any time.

Please note that immigration and visa inquiries from Afghanistan should be directed to the Canadian high commission in Islamabad, which may be reached by email at Islamabad-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca
